Totally random and weird...but does anyone know what a Japanese Lilac tree smells like? The city is replacing my tree with one but I'm afraid it's one that I think stinks. I know it doesn't smell like Lilacs but all the info I've read just says slightly fragrant or people love it or people hate it.
I wanted to replace it with a white oak but they would have to do it next spring.
Yes these are the things that keep me up at night!
